The future of exploration, transportation and conflict is in
unmanned aircraft, sometimes referred to as drones, UAVs, UAS or
RPAS, unmanned aircraft are revolutionising our ability to monitor
and understand our environment. Our goal is to design the UAV
trajectory to minimize the total energy consumption while
satisfying the requirement and energy budget, which is accomplished
via jointly optimizing the trajectory and UAV´s velocities along
subsequent hopsWe needed our own custom airframe, made specifically
for long-distance flight with a heavy payload. The fuselage is
essentially dead weight, it doesn´t generate any lift on the
aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with integrated brakes to
control the revolution of the rotors. The main rotor can be rapidly
dismounted for storage and maintenance. The UAV is capable of
flying in a hovering mode and moving slowly, or with high speed in
any direction, our drones are a new tool that can increase
safety.UAV is highly effective, both in terms of energy consumption
and outage performance. In the future, the new approach would be
developed to help designing better trajectories for energy
minimization in applications that involve UAV-enabled wireless
communications with latency constraints.
