2. Commonly used beneficiation equipment and beneficiation methods

(1) redistriction method

Gravity separation is based on the mineral relative density (usually called specific gravity) of the difference to separate minerals. Mineral particles of different densities are subjected to hydrodynamic and mechanical forces in moving media (water, air and heavy liquid), resulting in suitable loose stratification and separation conditions, so that mineral particles of different densities can be separated.

The electric separation method is based on the difference in mineral conductivity. When the minerals pass through the high voltage electric field of the electric separator, the electrostatic forces acting on the minerals will be different due to the different conductivity of the minerals, so the minerals can be separated. The electroseparation method is used for the separation of rare metal, non-ferrous metal and non-metallic ore. At present, it is mainly used for separation and cleaning of mixed crude concentrate.
