Heat Transfer Area 3M2 Indirect-Heating Vacuum Paddle Dryer Equipment

Paddle dryer consists of two rotating shafts with wedged paddles, jacketed drying chamber, drive motor and support frame. The drying process is completed in sealed drying chamber to prevent pollution by evaporated. Paddle dryer is indirect heating drying processor. Heat medium can be steam, hot water or thermal oil which can flow through the hollow shafts and paddle via revolving joints, as well as jacketed drying chamber. Wet material is evenly fed into the drying chamber by screw feeder. With the rotation of two shafts and paddles, wet material is completely mixed and stirred to contact with the hot surface and move towards the discharge and heat transfer happens and moisture evaporates rapidly.


Product Working Principle

CHPD series Paddle Dryer / Processor are highly efficient, mechanically agitated, indirect heat transfer devices that add or remove heat from a process mass. They are used for drying, heating, cooling, pasteurization, crystallizing, and reacting of pastes, cakes, powders, and granules.
Dual counter-rotating shafts with unique intermeshing discs produce intimate mixing and optimize heat transfer. The use of hollow discs and drying chamber heating jacket for heat transfer results in a compact machine. The heat transfer medium: steam, hot water or hot oil is isolated from the process mass. The KJG series Paddle Dryer provides a reliable and efficient method for drying slurry, filter cakes and centrifuge concentrates.

HEAT SOURCES(Temperature at 180ºC - 250ºC)

Heating by Steam

Steam enters the hollow shaft through a rotary joint and is evenly distributed to all paddles. Condensate is removed with each revolution.

Heating by Hot Oil(thermal fluid)

Hot oil(thermal fluid) enters and exits the hollow shaft through a rotary joint. Pressure from the supply pump forces liquid through the hollow paddles.


Product Application

Blade dryer has been successfully used in food, chemical, petrochemical, dye, industrial sludge and other fields. Equipment heat, cooling, mixing features make it to complete the following unit operations: calcination (low temperature), cooling, drying (solvent recovery), heating (melting), response and sterilization. Mixing blades at the same time the heat transfer surface, the effective volume per unit area of heat transfer increases, reducing the processing time. Heat transfer surfaces in wedge-shaped blades with self-cleaning function. Compression - Expansion mixing features make the material mixed uniformly.
