Casting Iron Submersible Slurry Pump Can Use For Feeding Shale Shaker For CBM, HDD

Submersible slurry pump normally used for feeding shale shaker for CBM, HDD. It also can be used as feeding pump for decanter centrifuge. Usually we use single stage and single suction system.

How to select the submersible slurry pump?

For pump feeding centrifuge, we need to consider the centrifuge flow rate. For pump feeding shaker in the HDD mud system we should consider the whole mud system flow rate. 1. The pump shaft under the liquid has enough rigidity. No bearing is set between impeller and pump.

Pump inlet port is submerged in pit or tank to transfer drilling mud into shaker. While in oil drilling mud system, the slurry pump will be set on desilter tank or compartment. If we have 2 sets of centrifuge, then 2 sets of slurry pump requested. For some users, they prefer the screw pump, since screw pump is progressive pump. But the submersible slurry pump is more durable and high-resistance to sand or cuttings in the drilling fluids. Moreover, the bearing and connection part between motor and pump body is above liquid level, so there is no need to maintain the pump. Higher efficiency and lower cost.
