ASTM C26200 Common Brass Seamless Tubes For Heat Exchanger And
Lubricating System
1. Description
ASTM c26200 seamless brass tube has good variable performance (the
best brass). High strength and good machinability make it easy to
weld. The brass tube has good corrosion performance and is very
stable. But it is easy to produce corrosion cracking. Brass
seamless pipe can be used in heat exchanger and condenser, low
temperature pipeline and submarine transportation pipe.
The strength of c26200 seamless copper tube is higher than that of
copper tube (but the strength is the lowest among ordinary brass).
It has good electrical and thermal conductivity, and has strong
corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and fresh water. It is easy
to be processed by hot and cold pressure, easy to be welded, forged
and tinned, and has no tendency of stress corrosion cracking. It is
usually used in oil pressure system, such as lubrication system.
