1. Description
AC-5590 is a polysiloxane polyether block copolymer to be used as
an auxiliary for the manufacture of mid-and especially low-density
polyurethane shoe soles which are based on polyester or polyether
polyols.
AC-5590 is also ideal in combination with water-based release
agents.
2. Application
Due to its special surface activity AC-5590, when applied at use
level of about 0.3 to 1.0 parts per 100 parts polyols, supports the
formation of a fine and even distribution of all raw material
components. A homogeneous distribution of the raw materials and the
corresponding fine and regular cell structure is one of the
determinant factors with regard to the use properties.
AC-5590 provides the formation of an excellent surface and very
good skin.
Furthermore, it improves dimensional stability and has a positive
influence on mechanical and physical properties.
