Working principle

The working principle of the horizontal ribbon mixer is: when the equipment is started, the motor drives the ribbon mixer to rotate, usually the ribbon is divided into two or more layers inside and outside, and the rotation is opposite. The inner screw belt is close to the central shaft of the mixer and its diameter is relatively small, while the outer screw belt is close to the inner wall of the cylinder of the mixer and its diameter is larger. In the rotating process, the inner screw belt pushes the material to do axial movement, so that the material flows from one end of the mixer to the other end, while the outer screw belt pushes the material to do radial movement, so that the material flows from the cylinder wall to the center or from the center to the cylinder wall. The two kinds of movements superposition each other, forming a complex material flow in the cylinder body, and promoting the material to produce strong convection, shear and diffusion effects. Finally, the material is highly evenly mixed in a short period of time.
