AUTOMOTIVE LAMINATED GLASS PRODUCTION LINE , VACUUM PRE-LAMINATE MACHINE

1. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS

This Vacuum Pre- Laminate machine is specifically designed for automotive glass, it is the processing procedure after auto glass lamination.

It is specially designed to vacuum the air between 2 pcs glasses, windshield inner and outer glasses, one channel de-airing line for automotive windshields. After VPL, the transparency of PVB film can reach 80%.

In the process for laminated windshield glass production, the bent glasses come from bending furnace on metallic racks. The glasses are separated by pairs (inner and outer glasses together).

Glass pairs on metallic racks will be brought to loading position of glass processing line where they will be loaded on conveyors.

Then the glasses will be unpaired on the conveyors and move to the washing machine: sheet by sheet (the Inner first and Outer following). All the glasses are oriented by wings downward (Concave down, face 4 on the belts of conveyors). After the washing machine, dry glasses move upon conveyor to cooling tunnel (where it will be cooled down till temperature needed for assembling with PVB sheets).

Inner and outer glasses will be conbinated with the PVB film together, and then placed with silicon ring, finally the windshields are flow into the next vacuum processing.
