Athermal AWG (AAWG) modules provide equivalent performance to standard Thermal AWG (TAWG) but require no electrical power for stabilization. They serve as direct replacements for Thin Film Filters (Filter type DWDM modules) in applications where power is unavailable, making them ideal for outdoor applications operating from -30°C to +70°C in access networks.
