1. Product Overview:

Fiber optic attenuators are used in fiber optic communications to reduce the optical fiber power at a certain level, the most commonly used type is female to male plug type fiber optic attenuator, it has the optical fiber connector at one side and the other side is a female type fiber optic adapter.

Female attenuators contain doped fiber suitable for both 1310nm and 1550nm operation. Fixed attenuation values are available in 1dB increments from 1 to 20dB.

Available in 1 – 25 dB. The passive device designed to reduce the power level of an optical signal to prevent optical overload at the receiver. Optical attenuators are commonly used in CWDM & DWDM, CATV systems, data center networks, test equipment, and other high power applications.
