Mineral Sizers
How it works
The stepped gear Mineral Sizers is driven by two motors to drive
the two parallel-mounted toothed rollers to rotate oppositely when
the power is decelerated by the speed reducer. When the material
falls between the two crushers of the classifying crusher, it has
spiral teeth or knife-shaped teeth. The plate first sieves the
material, particles smaller than the particle size of the discharge
directly pass through the discharge chute, and does not need to be
broken. Under the joint action of the vertical stress or shear
force, the large material is subjected to splitting and shearing of
the tooth of the tooth roller. Cut, stretch broken, discharge from
the discharge port.
FEATURES
- Oversized, heat-treated, alloy steel shafts plus self-aligning, roller-type bearings assure long life and maximum use of power. Jackshafts for control of roller speed are standard on double mineral sizers, optional on larger Single Mineral Sizers.
- Protective Spring Releases.Heavy-duty compression springs permit movement of floating roll to pass tramp metal and other uncrushable, avoiding overload and damage. Smaller Single Mineral Sizers are equipped with a shear pin release.
- Simple Roll Adjustment
Quickly set and maintained via manual bolt/shim arrangement. Allows shock loads to be taken in compression rather than tension. - Easy Accessibility
Housings for single crushers split and open at center line for access to all working parts. Twin Shaft Mineral Sizers models dismantle easily. - Welded Steel Frame
Heavy rolled plate and welded structural shapes for rigidity and resistance to shock. - High throughput capacity
