◆ Formwork Tie Rod Product Overview

Formwork Tie Rod is usually used in the pouring of basement shear wall to fix the formwork and control the pouring thickness of concrete. It is different from ordinary through wall screw in that there is a water stop piece in the middle of the water stop screw; During formwork removal, the ordinary through wall screw is pulled out as a whole and reused. After sawing off the two ends outside the wall, the middle section is left in the wall to ensure the impermeability of the wall. Formwork Tie Rod is composed of a screw, a positioning piece for controlling the thickness of the wall and a water stop piece.

When pouring the concrete of basement wall or column, fix the formwork to prevent formwork explosion. Because this rod passes through the wall, water is easy to penetrate along the screw. Therefore, the water stop screw is welded with a square reinforcement sheet called water stop sheet in the middle of the screw, which can increase the water penetration path and play a certain role in water stop.
