times lighter and have a cross section that is 1.5 times larger to
carry the same current. One of the most crucial factors for
high-voltage power lines that carry electricity over vast distances
is weight. Thus, the primary overhead power lines are constructed
entirely of aluminum wires.

Aluminum rods are made by melting aluminum ingots, the liquid aluminum flows out in a certain direction, and solidified into aluminum rods.
