Introduction

Compared with three-phase asynchronous motor, permanent magnet synchronous motor not only has higher efficiency at rated power point, but also has higher average efficiency in the whole speed regulation range. The excitation magnetic field of permanent magnet synchronous motor is provided by permanent magnet. The rotor does not need excitation current and the motor efficiency is improved. Compared with asynchronous motor, electric energy is saved at any speed point, especially at low speed.
