The movable jaw plate makes periodic reciprocating motion against the fixed jaw plate, sometimes separating and sometimes approaching. When separated, the material enters the crushing chamber, and the finished product is discharged from the bottom; when it is close, the material between the two jaw plates is crushed by extrusion, bending and splitting.

Working pricile:

When the jaw crusher works, the movable jaw plate makes periodic reciprocating motion to the fixed jaw plate, sometimes approaching and sometimes leaving. When approaching, the material is crushed by extrusion, splitting and impact between the two jaw plates; when leaving, the crushed material is discharged from the discharge port by gravity.

When feeding the jaw crusher, the material is poured into the crushing chamber with jaw teeth from the top entrance. Eccentric motion is usually produced by flywheels attached to both ends of the shaft.
