Basic composition
The core drill is composed of rotary mechanism, feeding mechanism,
lifting mechanism, transmission mechanism, control device, base and
other basic parts. Due to different types of drilling rigs, some
core drilling rigs may also be equipped with control measuring
instruments or other accessories.
The rotary mechanism of the drilling rig is called rotary device,
which is used to drive the drilling tool to rotate and realize the
continuous rock breaking of the drill bit. There are three types of
gyrators of core drilling rig: vertical shaft type, rotary table
type and mobile type. The classification of core drilling rig comes
from this.
The lifting mechanism is used to lift the drilling tool, casing or
other things. Most drilling rigs are specially equipped with
lifting mechanism, which is generally called "elevator", while some
drilling rigs are not equipped with lifting mechanism. For example,
in mobile rotary drilling rigs, the function of elevator is
realized by the cooperation of power head and feeding mechanism.
The feeding mechanism is used to adjust and maintain the axial load
on the drill bit at the bottom of the hole, and feed the drilling
tool according to the drilling speed of the drill bit to keep the
drill bit drilling continuously.
The transmission mechanism is used to drive the power transmission
from the power machine of the drilling rig to each working
mechanism of the drilling rig. The power transmission mode of
drilling rig includes organic transmission, semi hydraulic
transmission and full hydraulic transmission.
The control device is used to distribute power, adjust the movement
speed of each working mechanism of the drilling rig, and change the
movement direction and form of the working mechanism. The operating
mechanism of mechanical transmission drilling rig is generally set
together with relevant components, while the operating mechanism of
hydraulic transmission drilling rig is mostly set together as an
independent component, which is called console.
