Maine Foam Filled Fender Floating Type With Polyurethane Skin Made In China
Marine Foam Filled Fender Introduction
Marine foam filled fenders must not be sunk with the thermally
laminated closed-cell polyethylene foam core. They have a strong
reinforced polyurethane elastomer skin, available in black and a
variety of colors, including orange and navy gray.
As an alternative to the pneumatic rubber fender, marine foam
filled fender is extremely durable. Moreover, without air inside,
there’s no risk of bursting or sinking. And it’s widely used in
harbor, offshore platform, or ship to ship operations. Jerryborg’s
marine foam filled fenders are available in black and other
customized colors upon customer’s request.
Structure Of Marine Foam Filled Fender
Closed-cell polyethylene foam performs well in high durability and sturdiness even at extremely low temperatures.
Nylon and tire cord reinforcement is strong enough to protect the foam inside
Outerwear surface is the non-marking polyurethane, which is resistant to acid and alkali, besides it has higher load-bearing capacity and impact resistance.
Q235 hot galvanized flange, hot galvanized central shaft tube/chain
Applications Of Marine Foam Filled Fender
It is widely used in ships, offshore platforms, offshore,
facilities, docks, yachts, etc.
Heavy duty ship-to-ship lightering operations
All navy vessel berths and cruise terminals due to low hull
pressure non-marking-polyurethane skin and the advantage of a
proportional increase of reaction force and energy absorption.
Features Of Marine Foam Filled Fender
1. Excellent floating performance and not affected by tides
2. Resistance to acid and alkali
3. Diameter from 500mm to 4500mm, length from 1000mm to 9000mm
4. High energy absorption, low counterforce
5. Adjustable performance by changing initial pressure
6. Distribute the pressure on the fender during the collision
