A interim crown, also known as provisional crown or temporary crown, It is a short time used, temporary solution in dentistry. Like other temporary restorations, it serves its function until a final restoration is made and placed. The final construction could be a denture, a crown, a bridge or even implants. The function of a temporary crown is to protect the tooth, preventing them from moving during the time to wait for final construction, It can also provide cosmetics so patient can live normal life.
Now we have two solutions to make interim crowns. Acrylic resins (monomethacrylate based / polymethacrylate), or PMMA
material.
Acrylic Resin temporary crowns are based of chemical-cure or light cure acrylic material, sometimes pre-made acrylic teeth to achieve better esthetics.
This solution is relatively cheap, but less strength.

How to ship your interim crown cases to us |
| 1. Please prepare the following items before sending the case or a digital case: |
a. Write us an ordersheet, fill in as much detailed information as possible; such as dentist name, patient name, tooth number, future designs, service items needed, single crowns or bridge, color, etc. |
| b. Working impression (model) and opposite impression (model), study impression (model) if necessary |
| c. Bite registration (if necessary) |
| d. Please include all implant parts if the case is an implant, including lab parts |
e. Prepare airway bill for shipping (you can choose whichever shipping courier such as DHL, UPS or Fedex). You may also need to prepare a commercial invoice for the Customs and a non wooden declaration paper. Please contact our service person, we have those format you probably could use. |
