corrosion-resistant thin steel sheet with a thin coating of tin
applied by electrolytic deposition. It is mainly used for making
food cans, beverage cans, paint cans, and chemical cans. It
provides features of rust resistance, alkali resistance, and sulfur
blackening resistance. With the box annealing (BA) and continuous
annealing (CA) processes, ETP can be produced in various tin
coatings such as 2.0/2.0, 2.8/2.8, 5.6/5.6, and 8.4/8.4. It also
offers temper grades such as TS230, TS245, TS260, TS275, TS290,
TH415, TH435, TH520, TH550, TH580, and TH620.
