The main component of rare earth polishing powder is ceria, which is generally classified according to the content of ceria. The higher the content of ceria in polishing powder, the stronger the polishing ability, the longer the service life and the higher the corresponding price. On the contrary, the price of cerium will be lower if the content of cerium is low. Its initial polishing ability is basically the same as that of cerium products, but its service life is short.

【Application】

It is suitable for optical spherical glass with abrasion 100-150. Cerium oxide abrasive is more used in the optical glass polishing. It is used as grains abrasive in suspension or fixed abrasive (pellets); these pellets are manufactured from a mixture made of cerium oxide abrasive and a organic binder.
