Special Lubricant Oil for Rotary Atomzier


1. Product introduction

Our company's products (military-industry-civilian products) have been promoted by the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, departments, and bureaus.

They are additives (metal anti-wear repair agents) for the use of lubricating oil (grease) in mechanical equipment. They have the following functions:

1.1 Reduce mechanical friction pairs and improve the efficiency of mechanical equipment.

1.2 Not only prolongs the maintenance time of mechanical equipment maintenance by more than 1 times, but also prolongs the lubricating oil (grease) replacement cycle (1 times).

1.3 There are cases of repairing mechanical equipment due to high temperature, abnormal noise, and oil leakage (where there is friction) caused by friction damage.

1.4 Add products without stopping the machine to reduce production losses caused by machine stoppages.

1.5 Energy saving (to sum up, energy saving rate <3-5%>, environmental protection and emission reduction are the core of our company's products).

III. "XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil for Rotary Atomzier

The "sawtooth"-shaped convex and concave bodies on the surface of the friction pair further grind the "K M" and make it fully refined, as shown in Figure 1.

The refined"XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil adsorbs and penetrates to the friction surface, and the contaminants remaining in the surface pits are removed by the phosphate glass body and filled with finely ground repair agent particles, as shown in Figure 2.

An instant flash temperature can be generated between the friction surfaces, prompting the "XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil to undergo micro-sintering and micro-metallurgical processes under the action of catalysts and activators to form a metal ceramic repair layer, as shown in Figure 3.

When the friction surface is severely worn, the surface convexity and depression are more obvious, and there are more chances to produce higher flash temperature during movement, and the chance of micro-sintering and micro-metallurgy of the "XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil is also greater; as the worn parts are repaired, it cannot provide The friction energy required to form the repair layer does not

increase the thickness of the repair layer. As shown in Figure 4.

IV. The main features of "XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil :

4.1. Low friction coefficient


The anti-wear performance of the anti-wear repair agent was evaluated by the MM-10W multifunctional friction and wear tester of the National Defense Science and Technology Key Laboratory of Equipment Remanufacturing. The base oil was tank 50CC engine oil.The load is 200N and the time is 120 minutes.

The friction coefficient of the base oil is relatively high, about 0.125, and after adding different contents of anti-wear repair agent to the base oil, the friction coefficient is significantly reduced.

When the content is 10% per liter of base oil, the friction coefficient is the smallest, about 0.0487.


4.2. High hardness

The nanoindentation test results of the worn surface show that the hardness of the 45# steel matrix is 3.85 GPa, and the hardness of the worn surface under the lubrication of the "XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil reaches 5.97 GPa, and the hardness value is significantly increased, indicating that the "Golden Devil" can form a layer on the metal wear surface The surface repair layer with higher hardness improves the wear resistance of parts.

4.3 Good wear resistance

In the end-face friction and wear test, the SEM picture of the worn surface morphology of the tank engine oil under the lubrication of "XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil. It can be seen that there are a large number of deep scratches on the wear surface under the base oil lubrication, and there is a certain adhesion phenomenon, and the wear is serious (Figure a), while the wear surface under the "XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil lubrication is relatively flat, with fewer scratches and very light wear, Which shows that the"XIANDAO-BRANDED" Special Lubricant Oil has good anti-wear properties (Figure c).

6.3.1 Conclusions

• When the tribological tests were conducted under a constant speed of 0.004 m/s and load in 5 N, the friction and wear reduction reached up to 44.79% and 40.00% respectively, under the longest distance. From the optical images, 3D profile images and 2D profile images, the steel surfaces lubricated with motor oil showed deeper and wider wear tracks than that lubricated with XIANDAO Diamond Quality Material in any sliding distances under this condition.

• When the sliding distance was set as 57.6 m, the maximum friction reduction was 60.33% with frequency of 2Hz, wear volume and wear rate reduction were up to 40.00% when the frequency is 1Hz. The wear tracks were shallower and narrower when XIANDAO Diamond Quality Material was used as additive compared to pure motor oil from the optical images, 3D profile images and 2D profile images.

• From the SEM images, steel surfaces lubricated with motor oil showed obvious abrasive wear tracks, ploughing, bigger pits and plastic deformation. But when lubricated with XIANDAO Diamond Quality Material , the steel surfaces were much smoother with shallower abrasive wear tracks.

• With EDS analysis of worn surfaces tested under 1 Hz, carbon layers on the worn surfaces were obtained when lubricated with XIANDAO Diamond Quality Material as additive and pure motor oil. But there was a stronger oxide layer presented on the worn surfaces when lubricated with XIANDAO-BRANDED Diamond Quality Material, and higher amount of aluminum and silicon was found in a wear particle.

6.4.1 Conclusions

• From the top view optical images and SEM images of group one, the surface which lubricated by XIANDAO-BRANDED Diamond Quality Material as additive was showed very shallow abrasive wear tracks, but without XIANDAO-BRANDED Diamond Quality Material, the surface went through severe wear and deformation. When observing the optical images and SEM images from group two, the worn surfaces just lubricated with grease presented more and deeper abrasive wear tracks.

• Comparing the nanoindentation test results, the bearing surface hardness increased when adding KM into the base lubricant grease.

• From SEM images of the profiles for group one, cracks were observed when the bearing were just lubricated with pure grease, and without the protection of XIANDAO diamond agent and it also gave a shorter working life which was 206 hours.

• In general, EDS analysis of worn bearing surfaces showed higher values of Si, Ca, C and O were detected on the surface lubricated with XIANDAO diamond agent as additive.
