Metal Mesh Pre-Filter is a washable, reusable primary air filter made from high-quality metal materials.It is specifically designed for the primary filtration stage of air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units, fresh air systems, and other equipment. It serves as the first and most crucial protective barrier in an air purification system. Its core function is to effectively capture large pollutants larger than 5μm, such as dust, hair, pollen, and insects, thereby significantly extending the service life of downstream medium and high-efficiency filters and reducing the overall maintenance cost of the system.

effective filtration area, ensuring low air resistance and high
dust holding capacity.

Q1: How often should this filter be cleaned?
A: The cleaning frequency depends on the air dust concentration of
the usage environment. We recommend regularly checking the pressure
drop. When the pressure drop reaches twice the initial pressure
drop (approximately 150-200Pa), it is the optimal time for
cleaning. In ordinary commercial environments, it is usually
cleaned every 2-3 months.
Q2: How to clean and maintain it correctly?
A: The cleaning method is very simple:
1. Remove: Carefully remove the filter from the equipment.
2. Rinse: Rinse from top to bottom using a low-pressure water gun
or soft brush (can be soaked with a neutral detergent to remove
grease).
3. Dry: Gently shake off water and place it in a cool, ventilated
area to dry thoroughly.
4.Install: Ensure it is completely dry before reinstalling it into
the equipment. Note: Do not scrub vigorously with a hard brush to
avoid damaging the mesh structure.
