2. Technical Features
Image Quality: Prosound α6 inherits the technology of the α series
and provides outstanding image quality and excellent application
functions. Its image quality will not be affected by the exquisite
appearance of the device.
High-performance digital beamformer: The 12-bit a/d digital
beamformer is used to achieve an extremely wide dynamic range and
improve contrast and spatial resolution.
Hemispherical acoustic wave technology: The patented hemispherical
acoustic wave technology has been developed. Through the perfect
combination of a new generation of crystal materials and a
full-layer acoustic impedance matching system, a pure ultrasonic
beam is obtained, and the focusing in the lateral and vertical
dual-plane directions is achieved, bringing ultrasound doctors
unprecedented clean ultrasonic images.
Multiple beam processing technology: provides a very fast frame
rate for observing good dynamic images, with a maximum frame rate
of 1000 frames per second.
Harmonic technology: uses second harmonic imaging to produce clear

AIP adaptive image processing technology: significantly reduces the
