Quick Union Wireline Lubricator Hydraulic Pressure Control
I. Introduction
Wireline Lubricator Wireline Pressure Control is a tube which with
quick union and can stand high pressure, it’s used to accommodate
wireline toolstring. Wireline Lubricator Wireline Pressure Control
bottom end is connected with blow our preventor, upper end is
connected with hydraulic stuffing box and grease injection system.
Usually lubricator length is 8ft, sometimes also available 4ft and
7ft, it’s decided by the downhole tools length when operation.
There are two types: Upper and lower lubricator.Upper lubricator is
basic toolstring such as rope socket, stem, jar, etc; Lower
lubricator is for accommodate downhole devices, it’s with bleed off
port. Install the pressure jointon it and then install the pressure
release valve to read the well pressure and release it.

III. Structure Features
Lubricator is mainly consist of tube, nut and slips, etc.:Tube is the main pressure-bearing part to accommodates toolstring inside, it’s lubricator body part; Seal ring is installed on the quick union part to ensure thesealing connection of the lubricators.Nut and slips are mainly for connection
function.
IV. Pressure Test
The lubricator should be tested for compressive strength periodically, the test pressure is 1.5 times of the working pressure.
1. Install the test sub and test pipeline.
2. Open the test pump for the pressure test and press the pressure to test, holding 15 minutes and fill the test record card.
V. Maintenance
1. Replace the seals after each time usage.
2. Install with the thread protector when in storage.
