III. Structure Features
Wireline Riser is mainly consist of tube, nut and slips, etc.:
Tube is the main pressure-bearing part to accommodates toolstring inside, it’s lubricator
body part;Seal ring is installed on the quick union part to ensure the sealing connection
of the lubricators.Nut and slips are mainly for connection function.
IV. Pressure Test
TheWireline Riser should be tested for compressive strength periodically, the test pressure
is 1.5 times of the working pressure.
1. Install the test sub and test pipeline.
2. Open the test pump for the pressure test and press the pressure to test,
holding 15 minutes and fill the test record card.
V. Maintenance
1. Replace the seals after each time usage.
2. Install with the thread protector when in storage.
