STE18-g is used in various intelligent metering applications. It combines the latest 3DES security encryption technology and modular communication unit. The meter allows a base current of 5 amperes while retaining a maximum current of 80 amperes and extended AMR / AMI features. It is a compact design in a bs8565 standard housing, and maintains robust RF immunity to withstand 30V / M and IP54 rating, making it able to work in harsh environments.

The instrument works with a plug-in module for DLMS / COSEM compatible data acquisition and network communication. This modular design enables utility companies to choose from PLC / RF / GPRS / 3G and 4G LTE cellular data networks at low cost according to local conditions. Upgrades and maintenance will also become cost-effective, replacing only the module, not the entire instrument.
