Why phytase used in feed ?

As one of anti-nutritional factors in plant ingredients, phytate has negative impact on the digestion of protein and the absorption of minerals. Also, the phosphorus in plant ingredient is mainly in form of phytate, and the phytate is hard to be utilized by monogastric animals due to the lack of phytase. Phytase can hydrolyze phytate into phosphorus and inositol, and contribute to removing the anti-nutritional effects of phytate and improving the utilization of nutrients, especially for the phosphorus in plant ingredients.

Depending on different requirements, the feed types are also different.
