Production Description:
DTH hammer is a percussion system driving a piston inside a hammer body with up and down a motion by compressed air and transmitting intensive percussion energy to the bit to enable the drilling by crushing the rock. The drilling method by DTH hammer exerts high drilling performance especially for drilling hard rock and contributes to shortening the work schedule. Hence, this method is widely utilized for foundation work, landslide prevention work, quarrying services, marine civil work.

A: Bits face shape selection
Drop Center
For high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissure rock formations.
Drop Center
For high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard and fissure rock formations.
Concave Face
The all-round application bit face specifically for a medium-hard and homogeneous rock formation. Good hole deviation control and good flushing capacity.
Convex Face
For high penetration rates in soft to medium-hard with low to medium air pressure. It is the most resistant to steel wash, and good resistance to steel wash step gauge bit.
Flat Face
This kind of face shape is suitable for hard to very hard and abrasive rock formations in applications with high air pressures. Good penetration rates and resistance to steel wash.
B: Insert Carbide Button shape Selection
The different button is ideal for different ground conditions, abrasive levels, and penetration levels. In general, the more gauge buttons, the better over performance, especially in hard rock.
