1. The design water flux of the membrane element should be selected according to the low flux specified in the membrane element manufacturer. The design flux of the ultrafiltration membrane is 55 L/m2•h. The minimum number of membrane elements is calculated as follows: net output of the device/ 0.85/(design flux×single membrane area).

2. Ultrafiltration membranes are required to have the characteristics of strong anti-pollution ability, good chemical stability, and good mechanical strength. The pore size of the filter element can meet the requirements of removing colloidal silicon. Under the condition of ensuring the quality and quantity of the effluent, the membrane service life is more than five years.
