Impedance matching:

For example, if the input impedance of the oscilloscope is 1MΩ, you can choose a probe with an input impedance of 10MΩ. The signal measured by such a probe can be attenuated 10 times, have a small load effect on the signal being measured, and can match the input impedance of the oscilloscope.

Load function:

In order to reduce the loading effect of the probe, try to choose a probe with high input impedance to reduce the impact on the circuit under test. Passive probes have a smaller loading effect and are suitable for measuring most signals; active probes have a larger loading effect, but have better frequency response and signal fidelity, and are suitable for measuring high-speed and high-precision signals.
