Used for ecto-cervical and posterior fornix cells sampler in uterus neck cancer screening procedures.

Instructions for Use
Obtain an adequate sample from the ectocervix using a plastic spatula. If
desired, use luke warm water to warm and lubricate the speculum. Apply water-soluble,
carbomer-free gel lubricant sparingly to the posterior blade of the speculum if necessary.
Select the contoured end of the plastic spatula and rotate it 360 degrees around the entire ectocervix, while
maintaining tight contact with ectocervical surface.
Rinse the spatula as quickly as possible into the Preservation Solution
vial by swirling the spatula
vigorously in the vial 10 times. Discard the spatula.
Or Smear the sample onto the labeled slide, then Fix the sample
immediately
Special Notes:
take care to sample the squamo-columnar junction.This is the junction where the columnar epithelium of the endocervical canal meets the squamous epithelium of the vagina. It is the area where cell changes occur.
