Daruifuno's OPD790 dissolved oxygen sensor uses the fluorescence
method to measure dissolved oxygen. The core is the "fluorescence
quenching principle": excitation light of a specific wavelength is
irradiated onto a fluorescent sensitive material (such as platinum
or ruthenium dye). In the absence of oxygen interference, the
fluorescence intensity or lifetime is stable; oxygen molecules will
"quench" the fluorescence, causing its lifetime to shorten and the
intensity to decrease; the dissolved oxygen concentration is
calculated by detecting the change in fluorescence lifetime.

1. No electrolyte and membrane required, more durable
The electrolyte and oxygen permeable membrane in traditional
electrodes are not used, and the structure is simpler. It avoids
problems such as membrane pollution, aging, and breakage, and
reduces maintenance frequency and cost.
2. Maintenance-free and long-term stability
The fluorescence sensor almost does not need to replace consumables
regularly, and the maintenance cycle is longer. It is suitable for
long-term online monitoring, with good data stability and small
drift.
3. Strong anti-interference ability
Not affected by the flow rate in the water (no agitator or
circulation pool is required to ensure the flow rate). It has
strong anti-pollution ability and has little effect on oil,
suspended matter, bubbles, etc. It is more suitable for highly
polluted water bodies or low flow rate environments.
4. Fast response speed
The fluorescence quenching reaction is very rapid, and the response
time is generally less than 60 seconds, which is suitable for
dynamic monitoring.
5. Low power consumption design
Suitable for battery-powered systems, especially for outdoor and
aquatic buoys.
6. Accurate measurement and good repeatability
High precision, low drift, and repeatability better than
traditional polarography. Especially suitable for application
scenarios that require high precision and long-term online
monitoring.
7. High degree of intelligence
Can be directly connected to the SCADA system through digital
signal output (MODBUS). Supports remote calibration, fault
diagnosis and data transmission.

1. Universal standard, strong compatibility
NPT (National Pipe Thread) is an American standard for tapered pipe threads, widely used in the field of industrial fluid connections. The 1-inch diameter is the universal size of most sensors and pipeline interfaces, and is easy to match with existing equipment.
2. Threads at both ends, supporting multiple installation directions
Both ends have threads: one end can be used for installation, and the other end can be connected to an extension rod, a sheath or a reverse fixing accessory to improve adaptability. It supports multiple installation methods such as insertion, immersion, and pipeline bypass.
