What Is Red Light Therapy & How Does It Work?
Red and near infrared light therapy is the process of using medical
grade LED lights to deliver concentrated & specific wavelengths
of light to our bodies. The cells in our bodies are able to absorb
these specific wavelengths of light, using them to stimulate ATP
production within the mitochondria which helps our cells produce
more energy.
When our cells have more energy, they are able to perform their
cellular functions more efficiently and more effectively, which
leads to the numerous benefits of red and near infrared light
therapy.
What's The Difference Between Red And Near Infrared Light?
Both red and near infrared light are natural wavelengths of light
which come from the sun and have been clinically proven to enhance
cellular function.
The main difference is that red light at 660nm only penetrates the
body up to a depth of about 5-10mm and may contribute greatly to
improved skin health and collagen production. Near infrared light
at 850nm is invisible to the human eye and penetrates deeper into
the body, between 50mm and 75mm, providing energetic and
anti-inflammatory benefits.
We recommend doing treatments with both switches turned on, as the
combination is perfect and our irradiance measurements are based
upon both wavelengths of light, not just one being turned on.
Is Red Light Therapy Safe? Has It Been Studied?
Red light therapy has been studied extensively and is proven to be effective by thousands of peer-reviewed medical studies and clinical trials. The studies have shown extremely positive results, and an almost total lack of side effects or health risks associated with it. We encourage our customers to do a search on PubMed for peer-reviewed medical studies and clinical trials regarding red and near infrared light therapy.
How Often Can I Do My Treatments?
You can do your red light therapy treatment daily. You can even do multiple treatments per day if you'd like.
What Is Your Warranty?
Our products come with an automatic 1 year warranty. If your device stops working or suffers some sort of mechanical failure within 1 year of your purchase, just reach out to us with your order number and we'll either replace or repair your device free of charge.
FAQ
Q1.What Is LED Red Light Therapy?
A: LED Red light therapy is a skin care treatment being offered as an alternative to physician-administered laser therapy. Most studies involving LED red light therapy revolve around the treatment of acne, rosacea, and of its ability to get rid of wrinkles
Q2.How Is LED Red Light Therapy Administered?
A: LED Red light therapy treatments can be administered as both:
professional skin care procedures in doctors' offices and as
at-home treatments. Some salons and spas have tanning beds that
have been equipped with red lights for LED light therapy.
Q3. How Does Light Energy work?
A: Specific wavelengths of light energy, when properly absorbed,
up-regulates compromised cells. The light (photons) energy is
absorbed by photoacceptors in the mitochondria and used to create
adenosine triphosphate (ATP). The ATP produced then stimulates
various metabolic processes which can result in the repair and
regeneration of cell and tissue components.
Q4.Should I need to continue to use the light when I start seeing result?
A: Yes,it doesn't mean that your skin cells are finished improve, It's just the efforts are starting to become something you can see or feel. Keep using it until it reach your goal.
