A1 is a single acting dust seal ensuring that foreign particles do not penetrate into the hydraulic systems, advoiding wear and damage to all the internal components including seals. A1 dust seal is to prevent dust, dirt, sand or fines from entering. In addition, A1 dust seal installation does not require ring screws or brackets. The Role Of The Seal:

Wiper seal: It is designed to prevent external contaminants from coming inside the assembly of the cylinder.

Piston seal: Acts as a barrier to the pressure and prevents the fluid from passing the piston. Necessary for maintaining the position when at rest or for the cylinder’s dominant motion.
