Point 1-Steel Plate Selection


Chemical analysis was carried out on the material inspection, according to the requirements of GB700-2006, dryer drum thickness < = 20 mm we use Q245 - A, > 20 mm we use Q245 - B; According to the GB/T 2970-2004 class ii, the range of 60 mm weld edge every board before cutting for ultrasonic flaw detection.


Point 2-Dryer Drum Welding

The dryer cylinder section for toroidal welding, longitudinal along the entire circumference of not more than two weld article number, and shell welds shall be full, the minimum is not lower than the parent metal surface, the top should not be higher than 3 mm, feed plate weld should be smooth.Weld edge bite depth should not be greater than 0.5 mm, continuous length should not be greater than 100 mm, should not exceed the total length of each weld bite edge which 10% of the weld length.


Working Principle

The paddle dryer is compact in structure and mainly consists of a sandwich casing, a central shaft with staggered blades, inlet and outlet joints, drive mechanisms, control boxes, and other components.


The cylinder is a jacket structure in which hot steam circulates inside. During operation, water vapor is introduced into the jacket, hollow shaft, and blade to provide the heat required for drying; a very small amount of air is introduced into the dryer and used as a carrier for the steam (or organic steam) that evaporates during drying; the material enters the machine from the feed port, and is conveyed by the hollow blade to the discharge port for discharging. The material is heated and evaporated by the hollow blade and the jacket during the conveying process to be dried. The heat transfer surface of the wedge blade has a self-cleaning function. The relative motion between the particles and the wedge surface produces a washing effect that washes away the adhering material on the surface of the blade, which allows the material to have a long residence time and a high fill factor.
