rotary single potentiometer: This is a potentiometer with a circular start, it has a metal handle, the length

of this handle varies from potentiometer to potentiometer, some are quite long, and some are quite short.

The handle can be rotated within a certain angle from left to right. However, it cannot be rotated 360 deg-

rees. This potentiometer is usually 3 pins, some are 4 pins, the fourth pin is connected to the shell of the

pin (grounding pins), used in the circuit to ground the wire, in order to eliminate the adjustment potentiom-
