Basic Calibration Correction
Basic calibration in the following cases, the change is necessary:
-The probe frayed at the top.
-Replace a new probe.
-Special purpose.
In measuring, if error is clearly beyond the scope, should be made for the
properties of the probe to the calibration is called basic calibration.
By entering the six calibration values (a thickness of zero and five values), can realign the measuring head.
Steps of basic calibration;
Step 1: Under normal condition, continuous press “Clear” three times;
Step 2: Press“Menu”and up & down key to select“Calibrate”,press“Menu”to into the correct Zero;
Step 3: Place the probe vertically in the middle of the matrix and hold still; after completion of shows such as 5 seconds away again.To the next.
Step 4: When show the“S1”(The first specimens),put the minimum value (48.5 μm)specimens on the standard substrate,probe vertically on the S1 hold still,
such as display again after 5 seconds.Display real thickness“Real thickness(0049.4μm)”,press“Menu”and up & down key to select to enter the value
from“(0049.4 μm)”to the real one“(0048.5 μm)” and go to the next;
Step 5: Display“S2”,remove“S1”,put ( 99.8μm)piece on the standard
substrate,probe vertically on the S2 hold still, such as display again after 5 seconds,display“real thickness(0096.7μm)”,press“Menu”and up & down key to select to enter the value from“(0096.7 μm)”to the real one“(0099.8um)”and go to the next;
Step 6: Use“Step 5”to complete the real value calibration of“S3(249μm),S4(513μm),S5(1024μm)”
Step 7: After calibrate S5will display“Loading...”,about 2 seconds later it will come back to boot interface.Measured again after 5 seconds, such as standard substrate(Or you will enter the continuous mode),correct Zero to ensure that the display value to 0 after the test piece (or measured values are not accurate). The basic calibration complete.
Note:Specimens with other basic calibration, on the specimens of each thickness should be at least 1.6 times the thickness of a specimen.Such as:20,50, 100,250,500μm.
After the calibration, the instrument will work according to the new calibration value.
