WHAT IS A WAFER BRUSH ?
Wafers are industrial brushes that are built with rivets, clips,
steel channel and bristles. Designed to be used for segmented brush
replacements, wafers can also be used as gutter brooms, nut and
seed collectiors, road cleaning, and much more. Wafer brushes are
commonly measured by their ID and OD.
Filaments and Use:
This wafer brush is made of pp filaments. Polypropylene offers a softer filament that won't cut into the
harder road surfaces.
These highly abrasive brushes are well suited for heavier
industrial applications like metal finishing and well cleaning.
We can also offer a combination of both poly and steel filaments.
Using both filament types gives you the added benefit of something
harder than poly but softer than steel wire.
Pin Size:
① For wafer brush with inner diameter less than 128mm, the pin
diameter is about 6mm;
② For wafer brush with inner diameter over 128mm, the pin diameter
is about 8mm;
③ Pin spacing: default 30-32mm (customize larger pin spacing
35-40mm need to reopen the mold)
