This traveling bridge-type sludge removal system is designed for horizontal sedimentation tanks in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. It efficiently collects and extracts settled sludge by traversing the tank length, simultaneously scraping and pumping out the waste for continuous tank cleaning and optimal sedimentation performance.

Working Principle
The equipment is supported by a dual-beam structure that spans the
sedimentation tank, with bilateral drives ensuring balanced
movement. Rails installed on both sides of the tank guide the
machine. As it travels from one end of the tank to the other, the
submerged suction pumps extract sludge while in motion. Upon
reaching the end of the tank, the machine automatically reverses
direction after contacting the limit switch, returning to the
starting position while continuing suction operations, completing a
full working cycle.
