The 70m³/h 304 Stainless Steel Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)
Machine is a high-efficiency system designed for removing suspended
solids (SS), reducing COD, BOD, chromaticity, and other pollutants
from industrial sewage. Constructed entirely from
corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel, this unit ensures
durability and long-term performance in demanding environments.
System Composition:
The DAF system integrates the following key components:
Air flotation tank
Dissolved air system
Recirculation water pipeline
Dissolved air water release device
Skimmer mechanism
Advanced electrical control system
This compact, modular design minimizes footprint, simplifies installation, and facilitates maintenance.
Working Principle:
Coagulant and flocculant are dosed into the influent water. After
sufficient flocculation time, the pretreated water enters the
contact zone, where it mixes with micron-sized air bubbles from the
dissolved air water. These bubbles attach to the flocs, forming a
bubble-floc aggregate that rapidly rises to the surface in the
separation zone. The buoyant force of the bubbles separates the
suspended solids, forming a floating sludge layer. A skimmer
continuously removes the sludge, while clarified water is collected
from the bottom via a perforated collection pipe. A portion of this
clean water is recycled to the dissolved air system, and the rest
is discharged as treated effluent.
