Introduction
The voltage generator module (control module) of the PGC or
OptiTronic control module supplies high-frequency low-voltage of
approximately 10 Veff. This voltage is fed through the gun cable
and the gun connector to the high-voltage cascade.
In the cascade this low voltage is stepped up. This primary
high-voltage is subsequently rectified and multiplied in several
stages in the cascade until the required high voltage is
attained.The high-voltage is then fed from the spray nozzle to the
electrode.
