This standand applies to connection flagnes of pipe fittings, connecting parts and piplines, as well as to connecting flanges of machines, equipments, instruments, pipes, apparatus and tanks for nominal pressure up to PN250 and establishes he design nd dimensions of steel and cast inron flanges, determines the types of flanges, the types of formes of sealing surfaces, sets the technical requirements for the manufacture, markings, testing and flange joints as well as on the choice of a sealing surface depending on the hazard and the rarameters of the working mediums.
