- TA540-PSE-GE copper to fiber media converter provides IEEE 802.3af/at Power Sourcing Ethernet (PSE) functionality on the twisted pair port
- supplying both data and electric current to devices such as WiFi access points, VoIP phones and IP security cameras
- Deploying PoE-PSE Media Converters is an ideal solution when PoE-powered network devices need to be installed further than the 100 m
- distance allowed by twisted pair cabling by using single-mode fiber optic cabling, network managers can install Powered Devices (PD) anywhere around the LAN or enterprise campus.
- The TA540-PSE-GE series performs media conversion as well as providing electric current to the end-device at the remote site.
