Thermal fuses can sense overheating caused by abnormal operation of electrical and electronic products, thereby cutting off the circuit to avoid fire. Commonly used in: hair dryers, electric irons, rice cookers, electric stoves, transformers, motors, water dispensers, coffee pots, etc. After the thermal fuse is operated, it cannot be used again and only operates once at the fuse temperature.

Working Principle

The trigger part is a thermal pellet with special formula.The pellet presses compressiong spring and makes the contact connected under common temperature condition.When the working temperature of thermal link reaches the rated function temperature, the thermal pellet would melt and the compressiong spring is released. Then , trip spring will push star contact and make it disconnected to lead.The circuit would be cut off permanently.
