How to Select the Current
Generally, it is recommended to choose about 1.5 times the rated
current. For example, if the rated current is 1A, and the actual
abnormal current fluctuation reaches 1.5A, 1.5A is appropriate; if
the abnormal current reaches 2A, 2A is appropriate. The time of
tripping (that is, disconnection) is determined by exceeding the
selected A number. If the actual current exceeds the greater, the
faster the trip will be. It is not immediately disconnected after
exceeding the selected A number. The specific trip time is as
follows:
Calibration(at25℃)
100%of Rated Current | Hold,No Trip |
150%of Rated Current | Trip Within 1Hour |
175%of Rated Current | 2.0-10.0 sec Trip |
200%of Rated Current | 1.1-5.0 sec Trip |

Mechanical/Environmental Data
Operating Ambient Temperature: -10℃ to +60℃ Mounting: Various
options. See Ordering Information and drawings
Termination: 250’’(6.35mm)quick connects or solder terminals
Product Life
The number of mechanical actions is more than 3000 times, and the
current impact of 6 times is more than 50 times.
Wiring Mode
Regardless of the positive and negative poles, just like a switch,
the end is in and the end is out, that is, in series, the pins can
be welded or 2.8MM plug springs can be used.
Typical Applications
Tarnsforms, Motors, Battery chargers, Power supplies,
appliances, extra low voltage systems, machinery.
The Difference Between Automatic Reset and Manual Reset
After the over-current protector is tripped (disconnected), manual
reset (on) requires the actual current to be reset within the
selected current by pressing the button. For automatic reset, the
actual current will automatically reset within 60 seconds of the
selected current. There is no button for automatic reset, no head,
91 series are manual reset.
