P Overview
Progesterone (P) is a very important progesterone synthesized in the ovary, adrenal cortex and placenta. In non-pregnant women, progesterone production changes periodically throughout the menstrual cycle due to the influence of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
