FAQ of Finergy Solar Panels
Q1: Is Finergy's bifacial solar panel with dual glasses much
heavier?
A: It's correct that double glasses will be heavier. In this case,
Finergy is using 2 pieces of 2mm thickness glasses. By the way,
we're using 30mm aluminum frames with dual glasses. It's strong
enough. Finally, the total weight is only 2kg heavier per piece. It
will be no big problem on projects installations.
Q2: Why the product warranty of dual glasses solar panel is longer?
A: For the normal solar panels, the material of rear side is
polymeric backsheet. It's a damage for solar panel to work under
the sun. For glass, the life time is longer. In this case, we can
provide 20 years product warranty on dual glasses solar panels.
Q3: What's the extra power generation gain for floating solar power
project?
A: The extra power gain is generated from the rear side. We have to
use bifacial solar cells inside panels. The solar cells on the rear
side can generate power from reflected sunlight. As per our test,
customer will gain 5% extra power from water. It's the incremental
benefit to the project owner. We only sell in accordance with peak
power.
