SFM Series Wayon Self Control Fuse Protector SCP WPF120A4M 4 Cell 120 Amperes Current Limiting Module CLM

The SCP is a chip type surface mountable device that can protect against both overcurrent and overcharging. It comprises a fuse element to ensure stable operation under normal electrical current and to cut off the current when overcurrent occurs. It also comprises a resistive heating element that could be used in combination with a voltage detecting means, such as IC and FET. When overvoltage is detected, the heating element is electrically excited to generate heat to blow the fuse element to achieve overvoltage protection.Replaceable package that can be mounted with screws. Suitable for power systems and high power equipment.

Offers a rated current of 120 Amperes as a package that can be mounted with screws.

Applicable up to 14 cells in series.

Protects Li-ion batteries from overcharging (overvoltage) and overcurrent.

When overcharging occurs, the fuse element melts to shut off the circuit, and simultaneously the power to the heater is also cut off. Placing a heater directly under the fuse element breaks the circuit quickly.
