The HKW9700-F thermal protector has the characteristics of small size, shell insulation, sensitive action, and long service life. It is suitable for dual protection against overheating and overcurrent in new energy batteries, motors, power supplies, light ballasts, transformers, automotive motors, integrated circuits, and general electrical equipment.

KSD9700/HKW9700/BW/17AM/TB02/S01 Thermal protector consists of high sensitive bimetallic strip of dish size,When the temperature rises up to acting temperature,Bimetallic strip is heated to produce internal force to form fast action,Open/close contact,Cutting/connecting circuit to realize thermal protection function.

The HKW9700-F series thermal protectors use bimetallic sheets with a certain geometric shape, no the need auxiliary mechanisms. They rely solely on the self sensing and current thermal effects of the bimetallic sheets to quickly change the state of the bimetallic components, directly driving the contacts to automatically cut off and connect the circuit, providing protection against overheating and overload.

Fully encapsulated thermostat in industrial quality. Opens when the prescribed temperature is reached. At lower temperatures the thermostat is closed.
