AMPFORTG 18 Fast Response Design Pipe Clamp Clip On Surface Temperature Sensor 10K 3950 1% NTC For Gas Boilers
The working principle of temperature sensor
The temperature sensor of the wall -mounted boiler is an electronic
component, and its working principle is based on thermal effect.
When the temperature of the furnace body changes, the thermistor
material inside the temperature sensor will change the
corresponding resistance change, thereby output the electrical
signal to reflect the temperature change of the furnace body. These
signals will return the controller by controlling the circuit. The
controller controls the work of the gas valve and pump based on
these signals to achieve stable control of the furnace body
temperature.
A range of clip-on temperature sensors for pipe sizes from G16 G18 diameter. The sensor is held in place on the pipe by a powerful spring clip with different clip sizes making them suitable for various pipe diameters. The NTC sensing element is located in the very tip of the tiny metal housing that allows it to be closely coupled to the metal pipe. This helps to optimise the thermal response which is typically around 1 second or less. Other mounting systems are now available to help use this pipe sensor on even bigger pipes upto 100mm diameter.
